Releasing Covid-19 Anxiety with EFT
Hello there, my name is Yvonne Seymour and I am an Advanced EFT Practitioner & Online Business Mentor based in Shercock Co. Cavan. EFT is a form of psychological acupressure, based on the same energy meridians used in traditional acupuncture to treat physical and emotional ailments for over 5,000 years, but without the invasiveness of needles. EFT is very complimentary to my practice as an Online Business Mentor because it enables me to help clients, at an even deeper level, to move forward.
I first came across EFT about 10 years ago when I was faced with an emotionally traumatic situation. I was a mature student in college at the time and on the day of the incident, I had an anxiety attack which caused me to become extremely traumatized and upset. My tutor came to my assistance by using a technique she called “Tapping”, a term for EFT that is probably more recognized, to help me regain control of my emotions and managed to calm me down. I couldn’t believe the powerful effect of “Tapping” on the acupuncture points had on me that day and how quickly it helped me become calm again. This incident was going to cause me anxiety for years to come so I was very grateful that I now had a coping mechanism that would stand to me for life and would help me get through other significant experiences that life presented.
EFT has helped me deal with Stress, Anxiety, Grief, Confidence, Self Doubt, Fear, Physical Pain Relief, Accept Change, the list goes on and on and on. Presently I am using EFT to help me on my Weight Loss journey by addressing and breaking down issues such as self-sabotage patterns that result in emotional eating. I have struggled with my weight my entire life and now that I have entered my 40’s my tolerance for “yoyo dieting” has left the building!!! I will let you know how I get on.
